Problem: Sneakers are made to end up in landfills
Every year 300 million pairs of sneakers end up in the U.S. landfills.
Made out of more than 5 materials bonded chemically together
The sole material, typically EVA, takes 100+ years to degrade in landfills and lasts for only 500 miles
Majority of personas want to be sustainable however they’re too busy to follow the recycling routine
